  • Maintains ski trails at Onoway elementary school; 2kms of trails.

E) St. Albert

  • Club: St. Albert Nordic Ski Club
  • Maintains 10kms of trails groomed for both skating and classic, featuring 2kms of lit trails for night skiing.
  • Trails located in the NE corner of St. Albert.

F) Fort Saskatchewan

  • Club: Fort Saskatchewan Nordic Ski Club
  • Maintains 20kms of trails, groomed for both skating and classic, featuring 1km of lit trails for night skiing.
  • Trails located in the centre of Fort Saskatchewan.

G) Sherwood Park

  • Club: Strathcona Nordic Ski Club
  • The club skis out of the Strathcona Wilderness Centre, which maintains 12kms of trails for classic skiing, and 7kms of trails for skate skiing.
  • The Strathcona Wilderness Centre is located just N of Sherwood Park.

H) Tawatinaw Valley

  • Club: Tawatinaw Valley Skil Club
  • Maintains 25km of ski trails near the Tawatinaw Valley Alpine Centre.
  • Trails located one hour north of Edmonton, near Westlock.
  • Holds the annual Tawatinaw Valley Loppet, a traditional warm-up to the Birkebeiner.

I) Athabasca

  • Club: Athabasca Nordic Ski Club
  • Maintains 10 kms of trails groomed for both skating and classic, featuring 1 kms of lit trails for night skiing.li>
  • Trails located within town limits in between Landing Trails School and Athabasca University .
  • Holds the annual Athabasca loppet in early January.
