NCCP CCI AWAD (DRYLAND) MODULE
What: Training for coaches of athletes with a physical disability at the Learning to Train (L2T) and Training to Train (T2T) levels (NB: there is no CCI-Advanced context for AWAD training).
Where: Walden Cross Country Fitness Club Trails. The trails are located on Hwy 55 at Naughton, outside of Sudbury, ON. Turn right at the General Store coming from Sudbury on to Louis St, turn left onto Denis.
Date: July 19th - 21st 2013
Friday 19th July, 6:30-9:30 pm
Saturday 20th July, 8:30-4:30pm (in conjunction with PN Dryland camp)
Sunday 21st July, 8:30-12:00
The NCCP CCI AWAD (Dryland) Module is comprised of four hours of classroom learning and eight hours of practical training as an assistant coach at a L2T/T2T dryland training camp for athletes with a disability. The classroom and practical components of this module must be completed on the same weekend.
The pre-requisites for taking this module are:
1. Community Coach certification
2. Successful completion of the Community Coach AWAD Module
3. Successful completion of the CCI-L2T (Dryland and On-Snow) workshops
Registration fee: $60.00 per coach/participant.
